  1. Welcome to the {COMMO} host mode.
  2.  
  3. This help screen will describe all of the available options on
  4. the host main menu and there exact functions.
  5.  
  6. ARJ View:
  7.  
  8. This option will allow you to view a ARJ file archive.
  9. Simply specify the full filename to view, including the
  10. ARJ extension.  The host will then prepare a file and display it to you.
  11.  
  12. BLINK Transfers:
  13.  
  14. This command simply does a ASCII upload.
  15. This was added for blind users of {COMMO} that require this kind of
  16. transfer to download files to the Braille N Speak.
  17.  
  18. Change Directory:
  19.  
  20. This command will allow you to change
  21. directories on the current drive.  Simply
  22. enter the name of the directory as though you
  23. were doing a CD command.
  24.  
  25. Download:
  26.  
  27. This command will allow you to download files that are
  28. found in the current directory.  Three transfer
  29. protocols are available.  Select the one you require
  30. and follow the prompts.

  32. Event Shutdown:
  33.  
  34. This command will allow you to shutdown the host until
  35. a specific time.  Enter the time in 24-hour format when
  36. asked for the time.  {COMMO} will then hang up the
  37. modem, shutdown and not come back to host activation until the
  38. specified time has been reached.  A password MUST be given before you can
  39. shutdown down the host.

  41. File list:

  43. This command does a directory of the current directory.

  45. Good Bye:
  46.  
  47. This command logs you off.

  49. Help:

  51. This command will display this help screen.

  53. List a LZH file:
  54.  
  55. This command does the same as the ARJ file view except for a LZH type archive.

  57. Page the Sysop:

  59. This command will allow you to chat with the sysop.

  61. Shell to DOS:
  62.  
  63. This command will allow you to shell to DOS.  A
  64. password is required for this option to work. This shell requires the
  65. shareware program DOORWAY.

  67. Type a File:

  69. This command will display the specified file one
  70. screen at a time until the entire file is shown.

  72. Upload:

  74. This command will allow you to upload files to the
  75. host.  Three transfer protocols are available.  Select
  76. the one you require and follow the prompts.

  78. View a ZIP:

  80. This command does the same thing as the ARJ view
  81. except it only works on ZIP type files.

  83. Change Drive:

  85. This command will allow you to change the drive
  86. default.  {COMMO} simply performs a execute of the
  87. command you type.  This means that this command
  88. could be used for basically performing any DOS command, not just changing
  89. drives.
